Tuskegee University Police Chief Kareem Easley recently presented at the 10
th annual National Student Safety & Security Conference 威尼斯人娱乐城 Workshop in Las Vegas, Nevada, joining more than 300 first responders, school resource officers, safety professionals, mental health professionals, educators 威尼斯人娱乐城 community leaders from across the country to work together in pursuit of safer campuses.
Chief Easley presented during one of the panels on the “Safety for All” strategy to deepen relationships between the Tuskegee University Police Department 威尼斯人娱乐城 the people they serve 威尼斯人娱乐城 protect.
“The conference included an important h威尼斯人娱乐城s-on feature — real-world simulations of community response to school shootings 威尼斯人娱乐城 related tragedies,” said Chief Easley. “Community policing is at the center of our strategy at Tuskegee to involve everyone – students, faculty, staff, 威尼斯人娱乐城 our neighbors – as active stakeholders in preventing harm, violence 威尼斯人娱乐城 crime on our campus.”
